TAB 's primary role is to act as an independent
third party provider of standardized and
valid circulation measures for out of home
media. New forms of out of home media are
included in TAB 's audits if they can be
measured without compromising TAB 's standards
of integrity. In specific instances TAB
also certifies advertising placement.
TAB also seeks to influence the development
of other forms of quantitative and qualitative
research relevant to the out of home advertising
industry and to educate the advertising
community regarding the quantitative and
qualitative value of out of home media.
